Delegations from Singapore's National Environment Agency and Nanyang Technological University Visit the College of Environmental Science and Engineering

On July 3, a seven-member delegation comprising Ms. Liu Xianfang, Deputy Director of the Environmental Research and Development Management Division at Singapore's National Environment Agency (NEA); Mr. Shen Tingpei, Deputy Chief Engineer; and Professor Chu Jian from the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) visited our college for discussions and exchanges. Both sides exchanged views on directions such as resource utilization of municipal solid waste incineration fly ash, stabilization of solid waste and heavy metal pollution prevention and control, and low-carbon recycling and end-of-pipe management. Based on existing China-Singapore cooperation projects, they conducted preliminary technical alignment on common industry challenges. Moving forward, both sides will fully leverage the research strengths of universities and the practical management expertise of environmental management authorities, relying on key areas such as solid waste disposal and resource utilization, to continue promoting multi-level pragmatic cooperation and exchanges.
