Shimadzu Corporation Visits to Deepen Environmental Analysis Innovation and University-Enterprise Collaboration

On June 23, 2026, a delegation led by Yoshiaki Maeda, Managing Executive Officer of Shimadzu Corporation, and Wu Tongbin, Director of Shimadzu Enterprise Management (China) Co., Ltd., visited our college for cooperation discussions.

At the meeting, both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on monitoring and analysis of emerging pollutants, environmental applications of mass spectrometry imaging technology, and R&D of intelligent environmental monitoring equipment. They also shared views on joint laboratory development, collaborative research innovation, and cooperation on application scenarios in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Both sides agreed to establish a regular exchange mechanism, strengthen resource sharing, and explore multi-level cooperation paths including joint laboratory construction, research project collaboration and achievement transformation, to jointly serve the major national strategic needs of emerging pollutant governance and ecological environmental protection.
