Postdoctoral Researcher Qiu Zhiwei Selected for 2026 Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program

Recently, postdoctoral researcher Qiu Zhiwei from our college was selected for the 2026 Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program. Launched in conjunction with key research bases such as national laboratories, the program targets major national strategies, strategic high technologies and frontier basic science fields, and selects outstanding recent doctoral graduates to conduct postdoctoral research at domestic postdoctoral stations.

Qiu Zhiwei joined the college's Membrane-based Water Treatment and Resource Utilization team in July 2025 under the supervision of Professor Wang Zhiwei, focusing on advanced membrane-based treatment and resource recovery of sewage and wastewater. To date, he has published 16 first-author papers in journals including Environmental Science & Technology and Water Research, and has filed 9 invention patents with 2 granted.
