Professor He Pinjing Appointed Member of Hainan Free Trade Port International Advisory Committee

The appointment ceremony and first advisory session of the Hainan Free Trade Port International Advisory Committee was recently held in Haikou. Professor He Pinjing from our college attended the event and was appointed as a committee member.

Hosted by the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Hainan Province, the ceremony was attended by Feng Fei, Secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, who presented appointment letters to all committee members.

Professor He Pinjing is a tenured professor and doctoral supervisor at our college, with long-term commitment to teaching and research on solid waste treatment, disposal and resource utilization. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), his team conducts systematic research on urban and rural solid waste resource utilization to serve major national strategic needs including waste sorting, waste-free city development, rural revitalization, green transition, circular economy, and pollution and carbon reduction.
