The 4th Meeting of the 4th Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory of Yangtze River Water Environment (Ministry of Education) Successfully Held

April 16, 2026–the 4th meeting of the 4th Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory of Yangtze River Water Environment (Ministry of Education) was held in Shanghai. Members of the Academic Committee, including Academicians Yang Zhifeng, Xu Zuxin, and Yu Gang, attended the meeting. Vice President Zhao Xianzhong of Tongji University, Vice Dean Yang Hua of the Research Institute of Science and Technology, Party Secretary Xu Bin of the college, as well as college leadership and key laboratory staff—over 40 participants—were present. The Academic Committee meeting was chaired by Academician Xu Zuxin, and the laboratory director, Wang Zhiwei, presented the 2025 annual work report. Committee members carefully reviewed the report, engaged in thorough discussions, and provided guidance on refining research directions, strengthening talent recruitment and cultivation, and advancing international cooperation.
