CESE Jointly Hosts 2026 Global Universities Challenge China Selection Round

April 15, 2026–the "2026 Global Universities Challenge China Selection Round", co-organized by the college, the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA), and other institutions, was successfully held in Shanghai. Over thirty young environmental talents from universities including Tongji University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and the University of Macau participated, competing intensely in teams on environmental issues such as integrated regional water resource management, solid waste, and new energy utilization. This challenge not only provided a platform for environmental students to connect theory with practice and fully showcase their comprehensive abilities, fostering exchange and cooperation among universities, but also established a new paradigm for the Sino-German joint cultivation of outstanding environmental engineers.
