Lecture by Academician Yu Gang of Beijing Normal University Successfully Held

April 16, 2026–Professor Yu Gang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Dean of School of Technology for Sustainability and Dean of Advanced Interdisciplinary Institute of Environment and Ecology at Beijing Normal University, visited the college for research and exchange, and delivered an academic lecture titled "Strategic Study on the Synergistic Reduction of Emerging and Conventional Pollutants." The lecture covered technical pathways for synergistic reduction, including rapid screening, source and process control, and end-of-pipe treatment. It broadened the understanding of cutting-edge developments in emerging pollutant control and deepened insights into synergistic reduction strategies, providing forward-looking academic guidance for talent cultivation in the environmental field.
