CESE Project Wins Second Prize of Shanghai Outstanding Industry-University-Research Cooperation Excellent Project Award

Recently, the winners of the 17th Shanghai Outstanding Industry-University-Research Cooperation Excellent Project Award were officially announced and the award ceremony was held. The project entitled R&D and Industrialization of Key UC Hydrolysis Acidification Technologies Targeting High Sulfate and Suspended Solids in Industrial Wastewater, completed in collaboration with the team led by Professor Li Xie from CESE, won the second prize. This project was a collaborative research effort between the university and industrial partners. Its core technologies directly address the industry pain points of high sulfate and high suspended solids in industrial wastewater treatment, and have realized the effective translation of scientific research achievements into industrial applications.
