From January 30 to February 1, 2026, the Seminar on Environmental Chemistry Development Strategy, guided by the Department of Chemical Sciences of NSFC and hosted by CESE, was successfully held in Shanghai. The conference invited academicians in China's environmental chemistry field, recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and representatives of outstanding scholars to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics including the development strategy and innovative development paths of the environmental chemistry discipline. The event featured four themed parallel sessions: Multi-media Pollution and Control Chemistry, Analysis and Toxicological Health, Nuclear and Solid Waste Pollution Control Chemistry, and Emerging Pollutants and AI. 26 experts and scholars delivered keynote speeches and held in-depth focused discussions, with the goal of providing new insights for cutting-edge research in the environmental chemistry field through interdisciplinary dialogue.
