Academician Xu Zuxin's Team Provides Expert Consultation for Water Source Protection in Changchun

Recently, Academician Xu Zuxin, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor of CESE, was invited to Changchun to deliver a specialized lecture on water source protection and pollution analysis. During the lecture, Academician Xu conducted a detailed assessment of potential pollution sources in the major rivers feeding the reservoirs and proposed practical, site-specific treatment measures and management recommendations, providing crucial guidance for Changchun’s ongoing water source protection efforts.

At the meeting, Wu Bo, Executive Vice Mayor of Changchun, presented a certificate of appointment to Academician Xu’s team, designating them as the “Chief Expert Team for Comprehensive Water Environment Management in Changchun.” This formalized the launch of in-depth cooperation between the two parties in the field of comprehensive water environment management.
