Graduation of Second Cohort and Opening of Third Cohort for "Climate Change and Carbon Neutrality" Micro-major

On September 20, 2025, Tongji University and Xinjiang University jointly held the graduation ceremony for the second cohort and the opening ceremony for the third cohort of the "Climate Change and Carbon Neutrality" micro-major. The events took place simultaneously at Tongji University, Xinjiang University, and Kashgar University. After three years of development, the micro-major has established a comprehensive training system. Its curriculum encompasses six core areas, including climate change and green development, carbon trading and finance, and carbon capture, utilization, and storage. Classes are offered over two semesters on weekends, employing smart classrooms to implement a blended online-offline learning model. To date, approximately 300 students have participated in the program.
