Currently, it consists of ten member universities covering seven provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The theme of this conference was "Building a harmonious coexistence between humans and nature in the river basin water environment." Over 260 experts, scholars, and graduate students from the member universities of the collaborative group participated and gathered to address the major ecological and environmental challenges facing the Yangtze River water environment. The conference facilitated in-depth exchanges and discussions on technological innovations for the Yangtze River water environment, bringing together faculty and students from ten universities along the river. This further promotes collaborative innovation within the Collaborative Group of Higher Education Institutions for Yangtze River Water Environment Research, thereby harnessing the wisdom and strength of universities to contribute to the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature in the Yangtze River Basin. This collective effort aims to support high-quality green and high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
