Tongji University and the Tunchang Government join hands to build a collaborative platform integrating industry and education, as well as a practical teaching base for the "Great Ideological and Political Courses."

On November 24, 2023, the signing and award ceremony of the cooperative agreement between Tongji University and Tunchang County People's Government for the Collaborative Innovation Practice Base integrating industry and education, as well as the "Great Ideological and Political Courses,” were held in Tunchang.

The practice base was jointly established by Tongji University and Tunchang County Ecological Environment Bureau. Focusing on "dual carbon" research, the two parties collaborate on long-term monitoring and research projects related to forest carbon sequestration, biodiversity, as well as the realization of ecological product value and the transformation path of "green mountains and clear waters are invaluable assets." Leveraging the respective resources and strengths of both the university and the local government in ideological and political education, theoretical lectures, scientific and technological development, and modernization construction, the base aims to build a practical teaching base for the "Great Ideological and Political Courses."
