To solve the major R&D requirements of " Pollution Prevention and Control of watershed " (led by Academician Xu Zuxin), my research is focusing on efficient selective separation and recovery for ammonium and phosphorus with low concentration in water based on designable and creative nano and porous materials. More than 20 projects were funded by NSF, MSTP and STCSM, and more than 40 SCI papers were published at Nature Sustainability, Environmental Science & Technology, Chemical Engineering Journal, Applied Catalysis B-Environmental, Science of the Total Environment, et.al as a first/corresponding author, and 8 invention patents of China were authorized. Additionally, an UN report published by Union Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) as a major co-author. Two times of National Science and Technology Progress award and four times of Ministerial and Provincial-Level Science and Technology Award were granted.
