First "Gen Z" International Eco-Environmental Journalist Workshop Successfully Held in Shanghai

From July 5 to 9, the first "Gen Z" International Eco-Environmental Journalist Workshop was successfully held in Shanghai. Co-hosted by the Center for Environmental Education and Communication of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and Tongji University, the workshop attracted over 30 international youth participants from more than 20 countries. Combining theoretical learning with field visits, the workshop led participants to explore frontline scenes of Shanghai's ecological governance, documenting and disseminating China's green development practices from the perspective of overseas youth. The workshop invited senior experts in ecological and environmental protection, journalism and communication, and documentary imaging to deliver specialized courses covering policy awareness, creative practice, and international communication, and arranged a rich itinerary of field visits in Shanghai.

The "Gen Z" International Eco-Journalist Workshop is a long-term brand project aimed at building a lasting youth bridge, promoting the global dissemination of ecological civilization concepts, fostering international cooperation and practical action in the environmental field, and uniting global youth strength.
