2nd Meeting of the 7th Academic Committee of the National Key Laboratory of Water Pollution Control and Green Resource Recycling Successfully Held

On May 6, 2026, the 2nd Meeting of the 7th Academic Committee of the National Key Laboratory of Water Pollution Control and Green Resource Recycling was held in Nanjing. Academician Hou Li'an, Chair of the Academic Committee, Academician Yang Zhifeng and Academician Wu Fengchang, Vice Chairs of the Academic Committee, as well as committee members including Academician Qu Jiuhui and Academician Duan Ning attended the meeting.

Over 60 participants joined the event, including Professor Zhao Xianzhong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Tongji University, Professor Lu Xiancai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Nanjing University, Vice Dean Yang Hua of the Research Institute of Science and Technology of Tongji University, Vice Dean Zhan Dechuan of the Research Institute of Science and Technology of Nanjing University, leadership teams of both colleges of environmental sciences and engineering of the two universities, and key academic staff of the laboratory.

Committee members fully affirmed the achievements of the laboratory over the past year, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on national strategy and regional development, theoretical research and technological breakthroughs, talent cultivation and capacity improvement, social service and international cooperation, as well as resource expansion and cross-university integration.
