April 12, 2026–A delegation led by Wang Bo, Party Secretary of Hejiang County, Sichuan Province, visited the college to discuss water environment governance and industry-academia-research collaboration. Located at the confluence of three rivers, Hejiang County is a key component of the ecological barrier in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. To achieve high-quality development alongside high-level environmental protection, the county seeks systematic scientific and technological support from universities. Against this backdrop, the two sides exchanged in-depth views on ecological protection and high-quality development, reaching consensus on signing strategic agreements, forming joint technical teams, and establishing talent cultivation mechanisms. They will jointly explore innovative pathways for water environment governance and green development in the upper Yangtze region, injecting stronger momentum into regional ecological protection and high-quality development.
