Writing a New Chapter in Green Transition with the "Carbon" Pen

April 13, 2026–An article titled "CESE Writes a New Chapter in Green Transition with the 'Carbon' Pen" was published in the "Tongji News" section of Tongji University's official news website.

Facing the national strategic needs of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the college has adopted a "digital, green, and integrated" approach to develop a disciplinary ecosystem that spans theoretical innovation and engineering practice, regional service, and global governance. Initiatives include multidisciplinary cultivation of "dual-carbon" talent, digital-intelligence-empowered "dual-carbon" research, deep engagement in "dual-carbon" planning and practice, and sharing China's "dual-carbon" experience with the world.
