Prof. Ying Wang Co-released UN GEO-7 Report Focusing on Sustainable Development Solutions as the Co-chairperson

On December 9, during the seventh United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) in Nairobi, Kenya, the launch of the seventh Global Environment Outlook (GEO-7) report was held. Professor Ying Wang from CESE, as one of the GEO-7 Co-chairs, presided over the release alongside UN Under-Secretary-General and UNEP Executive Director Inger Andersen, and Sir Bob Watson, Chief Scientific Advisor of the UK Department of Environment and GEO-7 Global Vice-Chair. They jointly launched the latest authoritative report on global environmental assessment. At the launch, Professor Ying Wang’s speech integrated China’s green development philosophy with global governance approaches, receiving positive responses from representatives of international organizations and experts.
