A Delegation Led by Professor Chu Jian, Dean of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, Visited Our College

On June 24, 2025, Professor Chu Jian, an Academician of the Singapore Academy of Engineering and Dean of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) visited CESE. NTU and Tongji University have a long-standing history of cooperation, featuring close exchanges and multilevel collaboration, including schooltoschool cooperation and studentexchange programs, laying a solid foundation for research and talent development. The visit aimed to promote deeper future cooperation between the two sides in areas such as water treatment, solid waste management and so on. It is reported that the two universities signed a cooperation agreement for the Tongji University-Nanyang Technological University 3+1+1 Program (TJU-NTU 3+1+1 Program) in 2024, and student recruitment commenced in 2025 March, and the first batch of students officially study in Singapore in August.
