On July 8, Tongji University-Korea University joint seminar successfully held. The event aimed to promote environment academic exchanges and cooperation between two sides and to jointly explore solutions to environmental problems and future development directions. Prof. Chen Yili, Director of International Students Office, Prof. Wang Zhiwei, Dean of College of Environmental Science and Engineering, and Prof. Li Fengting attended the meeting. Prof. Wang Ying, Vice Dean of College of Environmental Science and Engineering host the seminar.


During the seminar, students gave wonderful academic reports on cutting-edge issues in environmental science. The reports covered areas like environmental modeling, groundwater assessment, environmental programs, and climate change. They also studied specific cases such as Jeju Island in South Korea, Chongming in Shanghai, and Nairobi in Africa, demonstrating the latest progress and innovative thinking.
