Our College was awarded "Model College of Governance by Law" by Tongji University

Recently, Tongji University "Model College of Governing the School according to law" work exchange meeting was held in Yifu Building, Executive Vice President Lv Peiming, deputy Party secretary Wu Guangming attended the meeting. The Party Committee office, the President's office and other functional departments and 28 college leaders attended the meeting. The College of Environmental Science and Engineering was awarded the "Model College of Governing the School according to Law", and Xu Bin, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, was invited to share and exchange the experience of "Model College of Governing the School according to Law" in terms of the ideas, promotion, experience results and follow-up work of the model College of Governing the school according to law.

The establishment of the "Model College of Governance by Law" is an important work of Tongji University's action plan to promote the modernization of the governance system and governance capacity. It aims to effectively improve the level of law-based decision-making, democratic management and democratic supervision by promoting the modernization of the governance system and governance capacity, and enhancing the rule of law concept and the ability of teachers and students to handle affairs according to law. Create a nurturing environment in line with the rule of law.

The school attaches great importance to the establishment of the "Model College of Governing the School according to Law", performs the overall planning and overall deployment in personnel, finance, teaching, scientific research and other management, and collaboratively promotes the orderly establishment of the model college of governing the school according to law. More than 10 new rules and regulations have been issued, 35 documents have been revised/amended, and 40 documents have been abolished. The management system is composed of seven modules including party building, strategic development, personnel training, scientific research, team building, external cooperation and management services and supporting management processes have been sorted out and established, and internal governance capabilities have been improved. The whole process system of "three-whole education" covering the links of "enrollment, training, evaluation and employment" has been established. Establish rules and systems, standardize management, and create a refined laboratory safety management system to ensure the standardization, institutionalization, democratization and scientific decision-making of the college's work.

The College will continue to consolidate the work results of the "Model College of Governing the School according to Law", actively carry out law publicity, build a comprehensive information management platform, and make use of information means to comprehensively promote the modernization of the legal governance system, further improve the governance level of the college, and effectively promote the high-quality development of various work of the college.
