Today is the seventh "National Science and Technology Workers Day", the third National Innovation Award recognition conference was held in Beijing, and Prof. Dai Xiaohu of our college was listed.
Prof. Dai Xiaohu has been committed to the research of sludge and organic solid waste recycling engineering technology for many years. In view of the technical bottleneck problems of low anaerobic conversion efficiency, difficult solid-liquid separation and low resource level of sludge complex system in China, I led the team to explore innovation and exploration in sludge resource treatment and disposal, and developed key technologies and equipment such as efficient anaerobic bioconversion, low consumption deep dehydration reduction, high-quality and safe recycling. The research results were included in the top ten scientific and technological advances in China's ecological environment. And the realization of project demonstration and promotion of application, for China's sludge treatment and disposal of technical progress and high-quality development has made contributions. He also actively promoted the Sino-German bilateral government cooperation program "Sino-German Innovative Research on Clean Water".
He has published more than 140 high-level academic papers as corresponding author (including co-authors), and has authorized 112 Chinese invention patents and 11 international invention patents. He also won the 14th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award, and the first prize of Shanghai Technology Invention Award, the first prize of Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award, the Silver Award of International Water Association Project Innovation Award, and the Gold Award of International Invention Exhibition.
Approved by the CPC Central Committee in 2017, the National Innovation Prize was jointly established by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to recognize outstanding scientific and technological workers and teams who have made outstanding contributions in basic research and frontier exploration, major equipment and engineering, achievement transformation, innovation and entrepreneurship, science popularization and social services.
