Academician Xu Zuxin's team visited Wenchang City, Hainan Province to investigate the management of Zhuxi River

On May 18, our academician Xu Zuxin's team went to Wenchang City, Hainan Province, to conduct research on the management of Zhuxi River. The relevant leaders of Hainan Water Department and Wenchang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government participated in the research.

The research team went to Jinshan Town, Zhuxi River national control section, Fengpo Town, Zhuxi River comprehensive management project Bao Po wetland project, Aime reservoir, see the scene, listen to reports, ask questions, detailed understanding of Zhuxi River aquaculture management, comprehensive improvement project construction, source control and other work carried out.

In the subsequent symposium, academician Xu Zuxin and her team listened to the general situation of the Pearl River and governance work after the report on the results of the research feedback, and how to do a good job on the Pearl River governance comments and suggestions.

Academician Xu Zuxin suggested that Wenchang City should reinforce the control of pollution source, strengthen the government's daily supervision, using the simplest way as well as the smallest cost to promote aquaculture wastewater standards or recycling, accelerate the construction of coastal buffer zone along the Pearl River basin, control and reduce livestock and poultry breeding manure pollution. To adhere to the "government guidance, enterprise main body, social participation" work ideas, the establishment of a reasonable incentive mechanism to guide farmers to consciously collect livestock and poultry manure, while taking cross-town linkage to build a shared livestock and poultry manure centralized disposal center, the formation of livestock and poultry manure scale disposal, resource utilization system. To improve the rural work about the order implementation of river dredging, the harmless treatment of sludge, as well as making full use of the treated sludge as fertilizer for land improvement, to achieve the goal of preventing secondary pollution and improving the comprehensive utilization rate.
