Dear colleagues and friends,
We are pleased to announce and warmly welcome you to the Workshop on Environmental Nanotechnology and Biotechnologyto beorganized by the College of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University. This workshop will also be co-organized by Qingdao Technological University.
Increasing numbers of commercial, industrial and environmental products and processes utilize and release engineered nanomaterials. The goals of this workshop are to highlight the potential environmental benefits of nanoscale materials and technologies as well as the important unresolved questions concerning the potential environmental and health impacts of the use and production of these materials.
We will also invite experts and researchers to share their latest research activities related toin situ measurement(s) of nanomaterials in complex matrices, cutting-edge research to determine the molecular interactions of these materials with biological entities and model these interactions; nanotechnology-based solutions for water quality, and biological and chemical contamination as well as pathogens, and nanomaterials for remediation of contaminants in water, soil, and air.
The workshop will also include a student poster session to allow student-faculty interactions and foster cross-disciplinary and intense scientific discussions across scientific fields.
The participation is free of charge; however, pre-registration is required for head count and badge printing. To register, either use thisWechat link OR thisGoogle Form link: https://forms.gle/G7oNMpjgHEd3jZ6t9; Please register bythe deadline of July 1, 2019.Thanks for your cooperation and look forward to seeing you.
