第八届国际水协会区域膜技术会议（IWA-RMTC 2026）将于2026年8月26日至29日在中国上海举行，本次会议由同济大学与国际水协会膜技术专家组主办。会议自2008年创立以来，已在莫斯科、伊斯坦布尔、布宜诺斯艾利斯、胡志明市、昆明、瓦多达拉和巴勒莫等城市成功举办。作为全球水处理膜技术领域的重要会议，本届会议将为学术界、工业界和管理部门人员提供交流平台，分享膜法水处理领域的前沿研究与实践创新成果。

1. About the Conference
The 8th IWA Regional Membrane Technology Conference (IWA-RMTC 2026) will be held from August 26 to 29, 2026, in Shanghai, China. This edition is hosted by Tongji University and the International Water Association (IWA) Membrane Technology Specialist Group. Since its inception in 2008, the conference has been successfully held in cities including Moscow, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, Ho Chi Minh City, Kunming, Vadodara, and Palermo. As a premier global event in the field of water treatment membrane technology, IWA-RMTC 2026 provides a high-level exchange platform for academia, industry, and management sectors to share cutting-edge research and practical innovations.
The conference themes will cover fundamentals of membrane processes, novel membrane materials, water and wastewater treatment, sustainable membrane technologies, and AI-enabled membranes. Through dialogue and collaboration among international experts, IWA-RMTC 2026 aims to drive membrane science and technology toward a smarter, more resilient, and sustainable future. Abstract submission will officially open on February 10, 2026. We warmly invite scholars from around the world to register and submit their work via the official website: www.iwarmtc2026.com.
