Recently, the teaching team for the course "Water Treatment Experimental Technology (2)" (Shi Jun, Lu Zhibo, Liu Tao, Lu Jian) from the College of Environmental Science and Engineering won the National Third Prize in the Experimental Teaching Track of the 6th National University Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition, marking a historic breakthrough for the college in this competition. "Water Treatment Experimental Technology (2)" is a core compulsory experimental course for majors such as Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, and Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering. The course has long relied on platforms such as the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of the College of Environmental Science and Engineering and national key laboratories, continuously promoting innovation in experimental teaching models and focusing on cultivating students' abilities to solve complex engineering problems and engage in scientific research innovation. Aligning with top international competitions such as the WorldSkills Competition, the DWA Global Challenge, the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Competition, and the China International College Students' Innovation Competition, the course deeply integrates process standards, technical specifications, and training models into experimental teaching, constructing a collaborative education mechanism of "promoting teaching through competition, promoting learning through competition, and integrating competition and education," greatly broadening students' international engineering perspectives.
