Professor Wang Ying Awarded 2025 "Qidi Award"

Recently, after rigorous review by the Scientific Committee of Tongji Foundation (France), the results of the 2025 "Qidi Award" were officially announced, and Professor Wang Ying from our college received the honor. She has long been engaged in sustainable electrochemical pollution control and efficient substance conversion, exploring new paths for pollution reduction and carbon reduction through cutting-edge scientific research, and contributing to global sustainable development with original technological achievements.

The Qidi Award is an international academic honor initiated by the Alumni Association of Tongji University in France (ATF), funded by Tongji Foundation, and supported by the Alumni Association of Tsinghua University in France. Named after Professor Wu Qidi, former Vice Minister of Education and former President of Tongji University, the award was officially established in 2023. It aims to recognize outstanding female researchers worldwide who have achieved cross-border innovation in science and technology and promoted human well-being, and to support the implementation of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
