Tongji University Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China Resources Recycling Group Co., Ltd.

On June 5, 2026, Tongji University signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Resources Recycling Group Co., Ltd. Yang Jinlong, President of Tongji University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhu Jianchun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director and General Manager of China Resources Recycling Group, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. Li Xiangning, Vice President of Tongji University, and Yan Gequn, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Recycling Group, signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively.

Under the agreement, the two sides will pool superior resources and research strengths to carry out cooperation in the implementation of research projects, development of industrial sci-tech innovation ecosystems, joint discipline development and talent cultivation, exploration of joint university-enterprise appointment mechanisms, joint party building activities, and international exchange and cooperation. The cooperation will enhance the enterprise's core technology R&D capabilities, improve the university's capacity for the transformation, application and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, and realize complementary and win-win development. The College of Environmental Science and Engineering will serve as the main implementing college for the cooperation.
