On January 14, 2026, a delegation led by Mr. Benjamin Demière, Education Consul, and Mr. Rachid Malti, Science and Technology Consul, from the Department of Cultural and Educational Cooperation of the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, visited CESE to hold exchanges on deepening Sino-French cooperation in the environmental sector. Mr. Rachid Malti gave a detailed introduction to the faculty and student exchange programs, joint research projects, and academic exchange activities supported by the consulate, and encouraged faculty and students of CESE to carry out multi-level cooperation and exchanges with research teams from French universities. Wang Zhiwei, Dean of CESE, stated that CESE has long upheld the international cooperation philosophy of openness, collaboration and win-win progress, and is committed to building a high-level international exchange platform. He expressed the college's expectation to carry out in-depth pragmatic cooperation with French universities, research institutions and enterprises in broader fields and at deeper levels in the future.
