17 Postdoctoral fellows were selected for the National "Postdoctoral Innovation Talents Support Program" for the year 2023

In October 2023, the National Postdoctoral Management Committee Office announced the results of the National Postdoctoral Innovation Talents Support Program for the year 2023. In the field of Environmental Science and Engineering, 17 postdoctoral fellows were selected nationwide, including Dr. Jiang Yue was among them.

The "Postdoctoral Innovation Talents Support Program," also known as the "Postdoc Innovative Program," is a support initiative established and implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee. It aims to accelerate the training and cultivation of a group of outstanding scientific and technological innovators who can compete at the forefront of global scientific research. This program is another important measure in China for fostering high-level innovative young talents. The program combines key research facilities such as national laboratories and targets major national strategies, strategic high-tech fields, and cutting-edge areas of fundamental science. Through a series of procedures, including individual applications, recommended sponsoring institutions, and expert evaluations, it selects 500 outstanding doctoral graduates or recent graduates to receive specialized funding for their postdoctoral research work at domestic postdoctoral research stations.
