On February 27th, QS Global Education Group released the ninth world university subject ranking. This ranking evaluates more than 1,200 universities in 78 countries and regions, spanning 5 university disciplines and 48 disciplines. Chinese universities have performed brilliantly, with 1032 subjects from 110 universities selected among the top 600 in the world, including 76 in Chinese mainland, 9 in Hong Kong, 23 in Taiwan and 2 in Macau.
The ranking results come from the comprehensive evaluation of disciplines by authoritative scholars around the world, the comprehensive evaluation of global employment competitiveness of university graduates by top employers, and the analysis of 22 million academic papers and 150 million citation data in the largest abstract database Scopus in the past 6 years.
